Hellmuth Raises Turn
Level 31
: Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Martin Hellmuth opened the cutoff and Roman Hrabec defended the big blind.
The dealer spread the flop and Hrabec check-called for 175,000.
The landed on the turn and Hrabec led for 175,000. Hellmuth announced "raise" and tossed in a raise to 550,000, leaving Hrabec to deliberate.
"Why did you lead the turn?" Hellmuth asked. "Flush draw? King-queen of hearts or something like that?"
After some more time to think it over, Hrabec sent his cards into the muck.
"I knew it!" Hellmuth exclaimed. "Now we're playing."
