Final Chance to Make EPT National Day 2
With a total of 50 players already through to Day 2 of the RUB 77,000 EPT Sochi National, today is the final chance for any other players to join them.
Leading the way at this stage is Andrey Lukyanov who finished atop Day 1a with 544,000, clear of Andrey Chernokoz and Yaniv Peretz who finished Day 1b as joint chip leaders with 311,500.
Yesterday's flight is expected to eclipse the 249 from Day 1a, with total entrants of the two starting flights combined making a total of 333. This means that last year's figure of 705 looks set to be potentially beaten.
Players start with 30,000 in chips and will play eight 40 minute levels of unlimited re-entries. Late registration will then close, and play will continue until 15% of the field remains. They will then all be in the money and advance to Day 2.
There will be a 20-minute break after every third level, and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 8.
