Kuznetcov Nearing Three Million

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Nikita Kuznetcov opened to 60,000 from middle position and was called by Fabio Di Blasi, who defended his big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Di Blasi checked over to Kuznetcov, who continuation-bet 50,000. Di Blasi called.

The turn was {7-Spades} and both players checked, putting a river {a-Spades} on board. Di Blasi fired out 130,000 and Kuznetcov quickly dropped in a chip to signify a call.

Di Blasi picked up his hand relatively tentatively, doing so in a manner that he could see the entirety of both of his cards before he finished turning them over to table {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a bluff. Kuznetcov turned over {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} right away after seeing the bluff, showing his trips to earn him the pot and bring him to just shy of 3 million in chips as a result.
