Krakow Sends Beresford To the Rail

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

There was over 30,000 in the middle on a board reading {5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Conor Beresford shoved all in for 21,100 from the big blind. His opponent, Matan Krakow, thought for about a minute from early position before deciding to make the call.

Conor Beresford: {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Matan Krakow: {7-Spades}{9-Spades}

Beresford's two pair of nines and threes was no good to the rivered trips of Krakow, sending him to the rail as the pot was sent Krakow's way.

After the hand, Krakow filled in the remaining details, saying that he had opened from early position and received a call from the player on the button before Beresford defended his big blind. He made a continuation-bet of 2,000, which the player on the button called, and Beresford check-raised to 5,100. Only Krakow called.

Beresford fired another 9,000 on the turn and Krakow called, and then called the remaining amount on the river to win the pot.
