Im Doubles, Gets Back To Starting Stack

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

A player in early position opened to 1,200 and received a call from Youngshin Im, who was in the cutoff. The big blind also came along and the three went to a flop of {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, where the big blind checked. The original raiser made a continuation-bet of 2,600, which Im called before the big blind folded.

With action heads up, the turn came {2-Diamonds}. The early-position opener fired a second barrel for 4,500 and Im thought for a bit before putting out a T5,000 chip to call. The river fell {a-Clubs} and the early-position player fired a third barrel for 3,200. Im saw the amount and then raised all in for 6,000. Her opponent thought for a little while and then called the remaining amount to take the hand to showdown.

Youngshin Im: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Early Position: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Im's flopped set of eights became a turned full house and she was able to let her opponent do all the betting until she reraised all in on the river, earning her a double and getting her back up to a starting stack in the process.
