Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Sam Grafton bet very small in the big blind, 65,000 into over 500,000, on a board of {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Julien Martini called in the cutoff and the river brought the {8-Spades}. Grafton bet 240,000 and Martini moved all in for 745,000. Grafton thought about a minute and folded.

Vallinas Down to Crumbs

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Vladimir Bozinovic raised all in from the cutoff for 710,000 and it folded to big blind Jon Vallinas who called it off, only covering Bozinovic by 60,000.

Bozinovic tabled {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Vallinas had the better hand with {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Bozinovic managed to improve and end up with the best hand. Vallinas was down to just 60,000 after the hand but he doubled up against Jan-Eric Schwippert one hand later.

Khatskevich Wins Flip To Double

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

An all in and call were overheard from Table 3 and Christoforos Chrysochoidis had Maryna Khatskevich at risk for her tournament life. Chrysochoidis was in the cutoff and Khatskevich was on the button.

Maryna Khatskevich: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Christoforos Chrysochoidis: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Both players hit the flop {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, putting Khatskevich further out in front with a set of queens. The turn {10-Clubs} gave her a sweat but the river {k-Clubs} was a safe one for her, scoring her the double as a result.

Quintas Doubles Through Martini

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jose Quintas shoved all in from the small blind for 520,000. Julien Martini got a count and then called from the big.

Martini: {k-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Quintas: {j-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop gave Quintas two pair but Martini picked up a pile of outs on the {2-Clubs} turn.

"That's a good one," he said, before the river came a {5-Spades}. "Not that one."

Javier Zarco Eliminated in 21st Place (€11,420)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Javier Zarco raised to 500,000 with only 75,000 behind from middle position. Julien Martini three-bet all in for 915,000 from the hijack and it folded back to Zarco. There was a pay jump from 21st to 20th and Zarco took his time but he called without the clock being called on him.

Javier Zarco: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Julien Martini: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The flop was {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Zarco needed running hearts and he shoved his ace forward, but the {6-Diamonds} left him drawing dead and the {3-Spades} was dealt to complete the board.

Zarco took home €11,420 for his 21st-place finish.

Gab Yong Kim Eliminated in 23rd Place (€11,420), Janosch Hain Eliminated in 22nd Place (€11,420)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Gab Yong Kim
Gab Yong Kim

Hand #1:

Action folded around to Janosch Hain in the small blind and he went all in, putting action onto Clement Richez in the big blind who looked back at his cards and then announced a call.

Clement Richez: {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Janosch Hain: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The two saw each other's hands and looked to one another, each with a bit of a shrug as they understood the inevitability of the situation. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and the two had a little commentary about the flop, with Hain leading the way.

"I should be good," responded Richez as the turn came {j-Diamonds} to give Hain a gutshot to Broadway.

"Ehhhh, some sweat!" responded Hain. The river fell {6-Diamonds} and Hain was unable to hit, leaving Richez with the best hand. Stacks were counted and Richez was totaled to have 795,000. Hain paid it off and was left with around 120,000.

Hand #2:

On the following hand, Hain shoved all in on the button and was called by Potito Martire in the big blind.

Janosch Hain: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Potito Martire: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Hain flipped over his hand in a triumphant manner, excited he had picked up such a big stack after becoming crippled. He found himself up against a pair of ducks, however, and was not ahead going to the flop {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} which improved his total number of outs to 10. However, that was all the sweat Martire needed as the turn {7-Clubs} and river {9-Hearts} finished the runout and Hain made his way from the tournament area.

"It was nice playing with you," said Richez as Hain took off.

Meanwhile, Gab Yong Kim was sent to the payout desk during transpiration of the aforementioned two hands as the 23rd-place finisher.

D'Alterio Doubles Through Schwippert

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Luigi D'Alterio got his stack of 615,000 in from the button on what looked like a three-bet shove over a cutoff open by Jan Schwippert. Schwippert had him at risk with {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} but couldn't hold against {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} as {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} hit the felt.

[Removed:102] Eliminated in 24th Place (€9,570)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action folded around to Jan-Eric Schwippert in the small blind and he went all in, effectively [Removed:102] to a decision for his remaining 350,000 or so. Apicella-Albertini announced a call without much thought.

[Removed:102]: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Jan-Eric Schwippert: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

"Whoa!" said Apicella-Albertini. "King please! One time!" he added. Apicella-Albertini was quickly disappointed despite the request to use the "one time," seeing an ace come in the window on the flop {4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. The turn {a-Hearts} removed any chances of backing into a winner, leaving Apicella-Albertini drawing dead for the river {7-Hearts} to become the 24th place finisher in the tournament.
