Reard Hits 6 Milly

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Alexandre Reard made it 375,000 in the small blind and Christoforos Chrysochoidis called in the big. Both players checked the flop for a board of {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Reard bet 250,000 and Chrysochoidis called. Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} and Reard tabled {q-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a turned pair.

Chrysochoidis looked disgusted and mucked.

Wiecek Takes D'Alterio To Value Town

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Luigi D'Alterio opened to 210,000 in the hijack and action made its way around to Piotr Wiecek in the big blind. He sat for about 30 seconds and then three-bet to 725,000. D'Alterio called.

The flop came {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Wiacek made a continuation-bet of 475,000. D'Alterio called to bring the turn {a-Hearts}, where both players checked.

The river fell {2-Diamonds} and Wiacek slid out a bet of 1.1 million, sending D'Alterio deep into the tank. After about three minutes and 40 seconds, a clock was called from another player at the table and he used up all but eight seconds of his countdown before dropping in a chip to signify a call.

Wiacek immediately turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for aces full and D'Alterio mucked and paid off the bet, shaking his head as he did so.

Maryna Khatskevich Eliminated in 11th Place (€21,080)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Maryna Khatskevich
Maryna Khatskevich

Maryna Khatskevich raised from early position to 210,000 and she was called by Lior Tal from the cutoff and Alexandre Reard from the big blind.

The flop was dealt {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Reard checked to Khatskevich who continued with a bet of 225,000. Tal folded but Reard decided to stick around.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Reard took over the betting initiative when he fired a bet of 325,000. Khatskevich had 900,000 in front of her and that went to the middle after she tanked for mutliple minutes. Reard snap-called and immediately tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Khatskevich was in serious trouble with {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The river was the {7-Spades} and Khatskevich was elimnated from the tournament in 11th place and that makes het €10,080.

Alexey Losev Eliminated in 12th Place (€18,865)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alexey Losev
Alexey Losev

Alexey Losev jammed under the gun for 900,000. Action folded to the cutoff, where Vladimir Bozinovic called off his stack of 820,000. Big blind Luigi D'Alterio needed about 20 seconds of thought and a count before giving it up.

Losev: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Bozinovic: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Losev had found an awful spot and it got no better on the {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. The {8-Spades} turn left him dead and he was left with just 80,000.

He survived all in the next hand making trip sevens with {10-}{7-} but then got in {a-}{10-} against the {a-}{j-} of D'Alterio. Losev managed to flop a ten, but a jack on the river ended his comeback bid.

Yiannis Liperis Eliminated in 13th Place (€18,865)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Yiannis Liperis
Yiannis Liperis

Yiannis Liperis moved all in from under the gun for 1,170,000 and it folded to button Piotr Wiecek. He wanted a count before he pushed all in himself, covering Liperis. Big blind Alexey Losev dropped an f-bomb before he leaned back to think, but he eventually folded.

Liperis showed {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and he was flipping against the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Wiecek.

The {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop left Liperis in bad shape and he wasn't able to recover on the {4-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river.

Liperis takes home €18,865 for his 13th-place finish.

Potito Martire Eliminated in 14th Place (€17,000)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Potito Martire
Potito Martire

Potito Martire jammed from the button for approximately 800,000. Big blind Josip Vidovic thought briefly before calling and turning over {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}. He was way behind against {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, but the {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop left Martire holding his head in disbelief. Neither the {7-Diamonds} turn nor the {9-Clubs} river would save him.

Liperis Doubles Through Losev

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Alexey Losev sat in the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and he saw everyone fold to him. The decision was up to him and Yiannis Liperis only had 465,000 in the big blind. Losev decided to push all in and Liperis called.

Both players had an ace but Liperis's hand was better then Losev's with {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} against {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Liperis doubled up.

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jan-Eric Schwippert
Jan-Eric Schwippert

Jan-Eric Schwippert was in the cutoff and saw action folded to him. He shoved all in and action made its way over to Alexey Losev, who was in the big blind and asked how much Schwippert shoved. The dealer told him 405,000 and looked back at his cards for a second before quickly announcing a call.

Jan-Eric Schwippert: {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Alexey Losev: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Schwippert was in trouble and needed to improve to stay alive, but Losev was the one to hit the flop {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

"Easy," he said calmly and quietly to the dealer from the one-seat. The turn came {2-Clubs} to lock up the knockout for him and he hit the felt in celebration. The river came {3-Spades} to complete the runout and he stood up, fist pumping for a good 15 seconds before sitting back down to collect his chips and stack them.

Khatskevich Back In Action After Double

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Maryna Khatskevich
Maryna Khatskevich

Jose Quintas saw action folded to him in the cutoff and opened to 200,000. Jean-René Fontaine was next to act on the button and took a quick look at Quintas' stack before announcing he was all in. The small blind folded and Maryna Khatskevich then found action upon herself in the big blind. She counted her stack and looked back at her cards, going into the tank for around 80 seconds before calling all in for less. Quintas got out of their way and the two tabled their hands for the runout.

Maryna Khatskevich: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Jean-René Fontaine: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Khatskevich was out in front and got pulled even further ahead on the flop {5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. The turn {7-Spades} left Fontaine drawing dead, locking up her double as the river came {8-Hearts} afterwards to make the hand official and complete. Khatskevich pushed forward her stack and it was counted out to be 620,000 total, which Fontaine paid off before the next hand began.
