Martirosian Out-Kicks Wolff

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Artur Martirosian raised it up to 3,500 in middle position and was called by Jean-Noel Thorel and George Wolff in the blinds. The flop fell {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked to Martirosian who bet 6,000. Thorel folded but Wolff called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} which slowed the action as both players checked to the {8-Hearts} on the river. Wolff led out with a small bet of 4,000 and Martirosian quickly called. Wolff whipped over {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} but Martirosian had him out-kicked with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

Gieles Applies Pressure

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Luuk Gieles saw action folded to him on the button and raised to 4,000. Laurynas Levinskas then three-bet to 15,000 from the big blind, and Gieles asked about how much he was playing. Levinskas said he started the hand with about 105,000 and Gieles quickly called upon receiving the information.

The flop dropped {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Levinskas made a continuation-bet of 80,000. Gieles thought for a couple of moments and then threw out a raise to 27,500. Levinskas let his hand go without much thought and the pot was sent Gieles' way.

Laurynas Levinskas was under the gun and opened raise to 4,500. Action made its way around to Luuk Gieles, who was in the small blind and called. Ihar Soika also came along out of the big blind and action went three ways to a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. All three players checked.

Gieles checked again on the turn {6-Spades} to put action onto Soika, who bet 7,500. Levinskas folded and Gieles called, bringing the river {10-Spades} on board where both players checked to showdown.

Gieles announced a seven, tabling {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and earned the pot as Soika sent his cards to the muck.

Tough Start for Eibinger

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Matthias Eibinger is already on his second bullet of the day and things haven't gone much better as of yet. After losing a big pot to Jun Obara, Eibinger raised it up 3,000 in the cutoff. He picked up calls from Robbie Toan on the button and Tsugunari Toma in the big blind.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and all three players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the turn. Toma checked again and Eibinger tossed in a bet of 8,000. Toan folded but Toma check-raised to 20,000 which forced Eibinger to muck his cards.

Heath Check-Shoves the River

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Daniel Dvoress saw action folded to him on the button and raised to 2,500. He received a call from Ben Heath, who defended his big blind, and the two went to the flop {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts} where Heath check-called a continuation-bet of 2,000 from Dvoress.

The turn came {9-Spades} and Heath checked again. Dvoress bet another5,000 and Heath made the call. The river fell {8-Spades} and Heath checked one last time. Dvoress fired his third shell for 20,000, sending Heath into the tank. He opted to use a time extension and then proceeded to check-raise all in.

"How much is that?" asked Dvoress. The number was totaled to be 67,500. Dvoress thought until the very last second of his time bank and proceeded to fold as time ran out.

Helppi Commits It All

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jun Obara opened to 2,500 in the hijack and was called by Juha Helppi in the small blind as well as Anton Siden in the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and action checked over to Obara, who made a continuation-bet of 4,500. Both Helppi and Siden called.

The turn came {a-Hearts} and action checked to Obara once more. He continued, betting another 19,000, and Helppi thought for a few moments before announcing he was all in. Siden sent his cards to the muck right away and Obara followed suit immediately thereafter, earning Helppi the pot with his turn check-raise.

Meanwhile, Matthias Eibinger wasted no time reentering and now has a fresh stack of 100,000 in front of him on Table 2.
