Karmatckii Eliminates both Sekularac and Martirosian

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Arsenii Karmatckii
Arsenii Karmatckii

Arsenii Karmatckii raised to 5,500 from under the gun and Artur Martirosian three-bet to 16,500 from the middle position. Action folded to Ognjen Sekularac in the big blind who called for his last 15,500. Karmatckii took some time and then made the 16,500 call.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts} and both Karmatckii and Martirosian checked to the {j-Spades} on the turn. Karmatckii checked again and Martirosian bet 16,000 into the 2,000 side-pot which was called.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades}, Karmatckii checked for the last time and now Martirosian shoved. Karmatckii snap-called with the bigger stack.

Sekularac tabled {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Karmatckii showed {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for the nut flush while Martirosian had {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for the lower flush for Karmatckii to score two eliminations

Sam Higgs: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Bertrand Grospellier: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for Grospellier to hold with the higher pocket pair to eliminate Higgs.

Kenney Spikes the River

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Sam Greenwood raised it up on the button and Bryn Kenney called from the big blind. The dealer spread the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Kenney started with a check. Greenwood made a bet of around 15,000 and Kenney moved all in for 36,000 which Greenwood called.

Kenney turned over {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} but was trailing the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} of Greenwood. The {3-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but the {q-Hearts} on the river gave Kenney two pair to double up through Greenwood.

Small Value Bet from Kisacikoglu

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Michael Soyza raised to 5,500 in early position and Orpen Kisacikoglu defended from the big blind. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} and Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 10,000 from Soyza.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the river. Kisacikoglu tossed in a small bet of 7,000 and Soyza quickly paid him off. Kisacikoglu showed {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for two pair and Soyza mucked his cards.

Higgs Doubles Through Thorel

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel opened to 5,500 in early position and Sam Higgs shoved all in for 15,000 just a couple of seats over. The action folded back to Thorel who quickly made the call.

Sam Higgs: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Higgs' king-high was currently in the lead and the flop of {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} cemented that lead for him. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {3-Clubs} on the river improved Higgs to two pair in order to double through Thorel.

Adams Scores an Early Double

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams was one of the latest entries prior to the start of the cards going in the air. He just moved to a new table with his fresh stack of 50,000 chips and wasted little time getting into the middle. Jorryt van Hoof opened to 6,000 in middle position and Tsugunari Toma called in the hijack. Adams pushed all in from the cutoff and the action folded back to Toma who made the call.

Timothy Adams: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Tsugunari Toma: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Adams held the superior pocket pair and the flop of {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} proved to be safe for him. The {q-Diamonds} on the turn left Toma drawing to just two out and the {5-Clubs} on the river was not one of them.
