Rezaei Next To Go

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei was down to his last few chips and went all in from middle position. Both Rainer Kempe in the small blind and Simon Pedersen in the big blind gave him action with a small side pot already brewing.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Kempe bet 14,000. Pedersen called. The turn was {10-Diamonds} and Kempe fired out another 50,000. Pedersen folded and the two remaining hands were tabled.

Daniel Rezaei: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Rainer Kempe: {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Rezaei turned top pair but it gave Kempe top two pair, meaning he had to hit one of the three remaining kings in the deck. He would not do so as the river fell {q-Diamonds} and he bowed out in 34th place, bringing the tournament just two eliminations away from making it into the money.
