Gurrutxaga's Jacks Win at Showdown

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jon Gurrutxaga opened the action with a raise to 2,200 in the hijack and received a call from Matthias Eibinger, who was on the button. The big blind came along as well to take postflop action three ways.

Action checked through the flop {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and the turn came {5-Diamonds}. The big blind put out a bet of 4,300 and both Gurrutxaga and Eibinger found calls to keep action three handed as the river fell {9-Clubs}, where all three players checked to take the hand to showdown.

The big blind showed {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for two pair, queens and fives, but quickly turned his hand back over to muck it as Gurrutxaga tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a better queens up. Eibinger also mucked and the pot was shipped Gurrutxaga's way.
