Fernandez Takes One Down

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Julian Fernandez opened from early position with a raise to 300 and he was three-bet by his neighbor, Eric Abbas. The three-bet was to 1,300 and it folded all the way around to initial raiser Fernandez. He called the bet to see the flop.

The flop fell {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Fernandez checked to Abbas and he continued with another bet of 1,300. Fernandez opted to go for the check-raise and he bumped it up to 3,700. Abbas thought about it for a minute before letting go of his hand.

Fernandez showed a {5-Hearts} as he took down the pot.

They are seated at the same table as Nick Pupillo and Dutch football player Royston Drenthe.

Zaverukha Takes Down 7-Way Pot

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

It all started with the under-the-gun player raising to 300. He was called by six players including Alexander Zaverukha on the cutoff and Jeffrey Brouwer in the big blind.

The flop landed on the board and it quickly checked to Zaverukha and he bet 1,100. All other players folded and he picked up a nice 7-way pot to start the day.

Sibgatova Makes Sander Fold

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante
Alisa Sibgatova
Alisa Sibgatova

The board was already {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Marc Sander had checked to Alisa Sibgatova from the cutoff. Button Sibgatova put in a bet of 1,100 and it was called by Sander.

The {q-Spades} river completed the board and Sander checked again. Sibgatova put in a bet of 3,000 on the river and that was more than enough as a quick fold followed.
