Razavi Doubles Through Riess

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Melika Razavi
Melika Razavi

Nicola Grieco raised to 23,000 from early position and he was called by Ryan Riess from middle position, Melika Razavi in the small blind and Jorden Verbraeken in the big blind.

The flop was dealt {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} and it checked to initial raiser Grieco. He continued with a bet of 48,000 and that was called by Riess and Razavi. Verbraeken got out of the way.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and that was Razavi her cue to go all in. She pushed her last 187,000 to the middle and the Italian got out of the way. Riess thought about it and called before his time ran out.

Razavi had a straight with {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Riess needed a four or an eight with his {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}. He didn't hit on the {q-Hearts} river and the pot went to Razavi.
