There were five players in on the 
flop and there was 5,500 in the middle. Three players checked to Eric Lai, who made it 3,500 and only Duff Charette made the call.
On the 
turn, Lai checked and Charette did the same, taking them to the river. It was the 
and Lai bet 5,000, which Charette didn't seem to like at all. After taking his time to think, the Canadian made a grudging fold but is still on almost 40,000 in spite of that loss.
