What is the Value of Time Banks?

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After arriving at the table with a completed board of {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} spread across the table, there was a massive pot brewing between Ruan Jiayu and Luc Greenwood. It appeared they each stuck in 32,000 on the flop and another 42,000 on the turn.

Jiayu led out for 33,000 on the river and Greenwood used up two of his time banks before shoving all in. Jiayu went into the tank for a couple of minutes, using up three of his time banks before finally electing to fold.

"Why did you use your time banks?" Sean Winter asked Greenwood. "Just snap-shove next time. Do you know how much those are worth? You just wasted like $1,200 in value."
