Siden and Miles Hit the Rail

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Anton Siden
Anton Siden

Pablo Melogno limped in from the cutoff which invited Anton Siden and Tibor Nagygyorgy to come along from the blinds. The flop came {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Siden pushed all in for around 250,000 in the small blind. Nagygyorgy folded but Melogno called.

Pablo Melogno: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Anton Siden: {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Siden was ahead with his pair of fives but Melogno had some live cards. The {8-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but the {10-Diamonds} on the river gave Melogno a pair of tens.

Meanwhile at another table, Tony Miles was all in with pocket nines against the {k-Spades}{8-Hearts} of Guillaume Nolet. Unfortunately for Miles, Nolet managed to pair his king and Miles was eliminated as well.

Miles and Nolet Trade Double Ups

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Tony Miles and Guillaume Nolet had all their chips in the middle with Miles being the player at risk for 430,000 in the big blind. Miles turned over {a-Spades}{7-Clubs} which was dominating Nolet's {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Miles held on to double up with two pair.

Just two hands later, Nolet raised to 350,000 from under the gun, leaving himself with just 80,000 chips behind. Miles moved all in on the button and Nolet called.

Miles flipped over {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and was up against two over cards in {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} from Nolet. The board ran out {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Nolet hit his king to earn himself a double up.

Quads for Bardon to Double Up

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Manuel Bardon (l) and Antonios Paschalidis (r)
Manuel Bardon (l) and Antonios Paschalidis (r)

Antonios Paschalidis opened to 100,000 and Manuel Bardon three-bet all in for 860,000. Paschalidis called with {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and was ahead of the {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} of Bardon.

However a deuce on the {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop and another on the {2-Spades} turn gave Bardon quads, and the {q-Hearts} on the river was salt in the wound of Paschalidis.

"Unbelievable man," said Paschalidis.

Francolini Catches a Rush of Cards

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Mauro Francolini opened to 80,000 in middle position and Guillaume Nolet announced all in from the hijack. Francolini called off his stack of 745,000 and tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. He was up against Nolet's two live cards of {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} and Francolini took control of the pot with a pair of queens. The {j-Hearts} on the turn gave Nolet a straight draw but the {2-Diamonds} on the river ensured Francolini of a double up.

Just a couple of hands later, Francolini made it 80,000 from under the gun and Jorryt van Hoof moved all in for 480,000 in the small blind. Francolini called and the cards were face up.

Mauro Francolini: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Jorryt van Hoof: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Francolini was in charge again and the board of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} provided very little sweat as van Hoof was eliminated.

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jakub Michalak
Jakub Michalak

Jack Salter opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Jakub Michalak three-bet all in for exactly 400,000. It folded back to Salter who called.

Jack Salter: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Jakub Michalak: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

There was not one but two aces on the {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board and Michalak hit the rail in 22nd place.

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alex Keating
Alex Keating

Andreas Berggren raised to 85,000 in the hijack and Alex Keating shoved all in for 825,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Berggren who instantly called.

Andreas Berggren: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Alex Keating: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Keating was up against it, needing an ace in order to stay alive. The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Berggren barely had Keating covered to send him to the rail.

Salter and Moraes Chop Miraculously

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jack Salter moved all in for 600,000 from early position and Rafael Moraes moved all in from the next position. The remaining players all folded.

Jack Salter: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Rafael Moraes: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The flop {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs} gave Salter top pair, taking the lead, but the {q-Clubs} turn improved Moraes a straight.

That left Salter dead to a chop, but chop he did on the {k-Diamonds} river.
