Split Pot for Schaap and Tanaka

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ad Schaap raised to 180,000 from the button and was called Masatoshi Tanaka in the big blind.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{5-Spades} for them both to check through to the {a-Hearts} on the turn. Tanaka check-called the 150,000 bet of Schaap.

The river completed the board with the {2-Diamonds} on which they both checked again.

They both had ace-high in their hand and split the pot as their second cards were lower than the four highest that were on the board.

Franco Wins from Tanaka

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Sonny Franco raised from middle position to 180,000 and he was called by Masatoshi Tanaka in the small blind and Dong Guo in the big blind.

The flop was dealt {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and it checked to Franco who continued with a bet of 250,000. The only caller this time was Tanaka.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and both players checked. They did the same on the {3-Hearts} river.

Tanaka opened up {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Franco showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. Tanaka thought he had a straight for a second and he was surprised to see the pot go to Franco. Tanaka counted again and laughed before he apologized.
