Schillhabel Hits Runner Runner to Stay Alive

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Stefan Schillhabel opened under the gun for 32,000 and his neighbor Luc Greenwood ran his clock to five seconds before pushing all in for 315,000. It folded back to Schillhabel who instantly called.

Stefan Schillhabel: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Luc Greenwood: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Greenwood was in the lead and locked it in on {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. The {6-Clubs} on the turn and {3-Spades} on the river were blanks and Greenwood doubled.

The next hand, Matthias Eibinger opened from middle position for 40,000 and his neighbor Andra Nemeth three-bet to 120,000. Big blind Stefan Schillhabel called all in for his last 51,000 and Eibinger called.

The flop came {J-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Eibinger check-folded to Nemeth's 75,000 bet.

While Schillhabel didn't show his hand just yet just tabling the {6-Hearts}, Nemeth showed {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

The {6-Spades} on the turn paired Schillhabel and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board, making Schillhabel trips. He now showed he had {6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, making for the perfect runner runner to triple up for the high stakes German regular.
