Margereson Eliminates Lilic Before Break

Level 3 : 150/300, 300 ante

John Lilic's slide ended, but not in the way he would have hoped. In what looked to be a three-bet pot with Scott Margereson putting in 2,800 on the button, {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} flopped. Lilic shoved all in first to act, and Jan Schwippert mucked. Just as quickly, Margereson called and tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Lilic was in awful shape with {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and the {2-Spades} turn ended things without need for a sweat to the {k-Hearts} river.

Players are now on break for 15 minutes.
