Hands #49-51: Kanit Gets Short, Shoves and Doubles

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Hand #49: David Peters moved all in from the cutoff with the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and swiped the blinds and antes.

Hand #50: Mustapha Kanit limped the small blind with the {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Bryn Kenney checked his option with the {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and the flop came down {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Kanit led out for 100,000, Kenney called, and the {Q-Hearts} appeared on the turn.

Despite pairing his queen, Kanit checked, which opened the door for Kenney to bet 165,000. Kanit took his time before making the call, and then checked for a second time on the {4-Spades} river. Kenney, who rivered a full house, bet 345,000, and Kanit eyed his opponent suspiciously before paying off his opponent.

Hand #51: Kanit moved all in for 705,000 from the button with the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Isaac Haxton called from the big blind with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Kanit had a 31% chance of surviving, which dropped to 19% despite pairing his five on the {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop.

The {J-Spades} turn was of no consequence, but the {a-Spades} river was as Kanit spiked to pair to survive.
