Tedeschi Tanks and Folds

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

While many hands have been going quickly, with the field getting smaller, some hands are taking 10 minutes or even more to complete.

Konstantin Uspenskiy opened up in early position to 13,000. The action folded around to Paul-Francois Tedeschi who called. Both players check on the flop of {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Uspenskiy fired out a bet of 27,000 when the {7-Spades} appeared on the turn which was quickly called by Tedeschi. Uspenskiy then went all in for 178,000 when the {2-Spades} hit the board on the river. Tedeschi, who barely had his opponent covered with 195,000 chips at that point in the hand, went into the think tank for more than 10 minutes. Eventually, Tedeschi folded and the dealer shipped the pot over to Uspenskiy whose stack increased to 256,000.
