Floor Makes a Ruling in Big Pot Between Carrel and Tsoukernik
Level 6
: 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
With more than 70,000 in the pot already, Charlie Carrel in the small blind had a bet of 50,000 in front of him on a board reading . In the cutoff, Leon Tsoukernik was still to act when Ole Schemion mentioned that he thought he had seen a check in the dark before the final community card was dealt.
Tsoukernik said he had seen the same, and as a result the tournament director was called. The dealer said he had not seen the check, and after further elaboration by all players involved, it was ruled that the bet by Carrel was confirmed.
Tsoukernik eventually called and then mucked when Carrel showed for a pair of queens.
