O'Dwyer Doubles

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

From the hijack, Jean-Noel Thorel opened for 45,000. Big blind Steve O'Dwyer called and then moved in for 60,000 on {Q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Thorel called with {A-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for second pair, O'Dwyer had just the {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

The {10-Spades} on the turn brought salvation for O'Dwyer, the {J-Diamonds} on the river didn't hurt him either.

Justin Bonomo Eliminated

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

As we were busy writing about the last hand he lost, Justin Bonomo got knocked out.

Bonomo clashed in a big pot with Sam Greenwood. While Bonomo had kings in the last hand only to lose to aces, this time he had ace-king and he would go under against Greenwood's pocket tens.

Bonomo out in seventh place, which means the tournament is on the bubble. Six players remain, only five awaits a reward for a day of poker.

Viacheslav Buldygin Eliminated, Badziakouski Almost Triples

Seated under the gun plus one, Mikita Badziakouski min-raised to 20,000. Justin Bonomo over in the hijack called before action was on big blind Viacheslav Buldygin.

Buldygin thought about it for a bit before saying "Yes, I can go all in" as he moved his chips in.

Badziakouski thought about it for a bit too before he as well shoved all in. His all-in over the top was for 195,000 and Bonomo called instantly.

Mikita Badziakouski: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
Viacheslav Buldygin: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Justin Bonomo: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop brought Bonomo a flush draw but he didn't hit it on the {4-Clubs} turn or {2-Clubs} river. Viacheslav Buldygin hit the rail, Badziakouski gained lots.

Adrian Mateos Eliminated in 10th Place, Sergi Reichax Falls in 9th

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

From first position, Jean-Noel Thorel opened for 18,000. Two positions over sat Adrian Mateos on the button and he three-bet to 50,000. Both blinds released but Thorel instantly announced all in. Mateos wasn't overly excited calling it off, but did reluctantly toss in some chips to call.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Thorel turned out to have 278,000, just more than what Mateos had. After finishing runner-up in yesterday's tournament for €260,300, now no spot on the final table for the Spanish EPT Grand Final champion.

At the same time, over on the other table, Sergi Reichax lost his last chips. Just like that, down to 8 and a final table.
