Zaichenko On the Clock Busts Conan
Andrey Zaichenko, who won this event two years ago and started the day second in chips, opened from middle position for 7,000.
Josip Simunic in the hijack three-bet to 20,000 before Arthur Conan shoved from the cutoff for 71,000.
Zaichenko went deep into the tank and after some time it was Dmitry Yurasov who asked the clock. The floor came over and informed Zaichenko that he had one minute left to act on his hand.
"Clock? I think like one minute" Zaichenko said before being interrupted by half the table who all agreed it was way longer than that.
With about 20 seconds left to act, Zaichenko called. Simunic folded.
