Kees van Brugge Finds A Double
Level 11
: 800/1,600, 200 ante
Kees van Brugge has been nurturing one of the short stacks for most of the day, but finally found a good spot to get his chips in. After an early position raise from Luke Marsh, Van Brugge looked at his cards and saw staring back at him. "The Beast", as he's affectionally known in the Dutch poker community, moved in for 31,000.
In late position, table chipleader Xixiang Luo was interested and cold-called the shove, Marsh quickly folded.
Kees van Brugge:
Xixiang Luo:
Luo went from three to four outs on the flop, but the jacks remained in the deck on the turn and river to secure the double.
