Joao Vieira

On Day 3 of the Main Event, Joao Vieira made an incredible comeback. Today he couldn't repeat that amazing performance. After being knocked down by Jan Bendik in a cooler situation, he would lose the remainder of his chips two hands later after suffering a bad beat.

Vieira opened for 110,000 first to act, and saw hijack Jimmy Guerrero three-bet to 260,000. Action folded back to Vieira and he shoved all in for around 550,000. Guerrero snap called.

Joao Viera: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Jimmy Guerrero: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Guerrero asked the rest of the table if they had folded an ace, but nobody had. The {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop was still good for Vieira, but the {a-Hearts} on the turn sure wasn't and left him with a single out to draw to. The {2-Hearts} on the river wasn't that one card he needed and he made his exit in 13th place, worth €53,310.
