Strong Start for Neuville

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Two-time EPT runner-up Pierre Neuville came into the day with just 12,000 chips, but so far things have been going his way as we've spotted him sitting on 39,000.

Just now Neuville raised to 1,600 from late position, and one player called from the small blind. The flop brought out {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades} and both players checked quickly. On the turn the {5-Hearts} hit and Neuville picked up the pot with a bet of 2,100.

Yesterday - on Neuville's day off - he caught up with our own Sarah Herring to talk about a new poker team he's involved in. Neuville's working with one of the best dentists in Europe - Jochem Heibach from Cologne - to provide a priority service for poker players with dental issues.

Here's the video in which Neuville and Heibach explain their new and unique cooperation.
