Check Check on the river in Quads Versus Top Full House Hand

Level 3 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel opened the action from the hijack, raising to 3,500. Andrew Pantling made the call from the big blind.

Pantling checked on {2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}, and called the 6,000 continuation bet that followed. The {Q-Hearts} hit the turn and Pantling now lead out for 15,000. Thorel made the call.

The {Q-Diamonds} completed the board and Pantling checked. Thorel checked behind rather quickly.

Pantling showed {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for quads, Thorel open mucked his {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

"Good check down!' said Haxton with a smile.

"I looked twice!" laughed Thorel.

Despite winning the hand, Pantling is down for the day while Thorel still hovers around starting stack.
