Bombs Away For Moorman
Chris Moorman's exploits as an online poker player are well documented. In fact, he recently passed the $13 million mark in online winnings and spoke to PokerNews all about it.
While he's had success on the live poker scene as well, winning the WPT's LAPC, Moorman doesn't travel regularly to play. He did make the trip to Dublin for the EPT, however, and now finds himself among the leaders here after pushing a few opponents around.
He fired away three-handed on a flop moments ago, getting only one caller. Another 12,400 on the turn from Moorman still couldn't shake his heads-up foe. But when the river was revealed and Moorman sensed weakness in a check, it was bombs away. He bet 50,000, putting his opponent to the test for all his remaining chips.
The opponent found a fold and after raking in the pot, Moorman moved past the 130,000-chip mark and into contention here on Day 2.
