Juanda Bluffs Most of It Off

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

In the last hand before the break, action folded to Ivan Luca, who won a World Series of Poker bracelet this past summer, and he raised to 3,200 from the button. EPT12 Barcelona champ John Juanda, fresh off his induction into the Poker Hall of Fame, then three-bet to 10,500 from the big blind, Luca called, and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Juanda bet 15,000, Luca just called, and the dealer burned and turned the {9-Spades}. Juanda bet again, this time 30,000, and Luca thought long and hard before making the call. When the {5-Spades} completed the board on the river, Juanda paused for a few beats before moving all in and Luca snap-called off for 123,900.

"Nice call," Juanda conceded before showing the {k-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a missed gutshot. Luca then rolled over the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a full house and the double.
