Staples Races for His Tournament Life
Bjorn Wiesler put out a big stack of chips from early position. He still kept a few thousand back, but the 30,000 or so he set out essentially declared that he was going to be all in. Action then folded to Jaime Staples in the cutoff and he opted to call off for his last 21,000. The rest of the players folded and it was off to the races.

Staples got it in good, and he held on the flop, though Wiesler picked up a gutshot to go with his overs.
The turn was a dagger through Staples' heart as Wiesler took a commanding lead with a pair of aces.
Staples needed a six on the river to survive, but it was not meant to be as the bricked. Ever the ambassador, Staples made sure to shake hands with everyone at the table before departing.
