Aces Up Don't Work for Kanit
Level 6
: 200/400, 50 ante
We missed the elimination of Mustapha Kanit, but Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier, who had been seated at the same table, was kind enough to fill us in on the details.
As he told it, Kanit was sitting with around 10,000 when he opened and was met by a three-bet from France's Anthony Picault in the big blind. Kanit called, the flop came down , and Picault continued for 2,200. Kanit ripped it and Picault snap-called.

Kanit:
Kanit had flopped top pair, but he was way behind the overpair of Picault. A on the turn actually left Kanit drawing dead, meaning the river that gave him two pair was a moot point.
