Kamatakis Baffles Greenwood
The action folded to Greece's Iliodoros Kamatakis in the hijack and he raised to 52,000, a bet that Luc Greenwood called in the big blind.
Greenwood checked and then called an 82,000 continuation bet on the flop. Greenwood check-called again on the turn, this time a 142,000 chip bet. The river saw Greenwood check for a third time.
"How many chips have you got?" asked Kamatakis
"About 800,000," came the reply.
A few seconds later and Kamatakis moved all-in, covering Greenwood easily.
Greenwood went into the tank for to minutes before saying, "Why so big? So small on every street and then all-in."
Eventually, Greenwood settled on a fold, leaving Kamatakis to add to his already substantial stack. The other players were trying to put Greenwood on a hand, one suggested he held for a straight, whcih Greenwood laughed off.
"I had better than a king," revealed Greenwood.
