"Probably Happy I Didn't Snap Call, Huh?"

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Roberto Romanello, who won the EPT Prague Main Event back in Season 7, opened for 800 from middle position and received calls from Ari Engel and Dimitar Danchev on the button and in the big blind respectively.

The {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop saw Danchev check, Romanello continue for 1,100, and both his opponents call to see the {4-Clubs} turn. Two checks saw Engel bet 4,000, Danchev folded, and Romanello paused for a few beats before check-raising all in.

"Probably happy I didn't snap-call, huh?" Engel, who only had 10,550 back, said after thinking about it for 20 seconds. Another minute or so passed before he called off and discovered the bad news.

Engel: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Romanello: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Engel got it in bad, but he was saved when the {9-Spades} spiked on the river to give him a winning straight!
