Lose One, Win One for Bilic
Back in August, Alen Bilic finished 69th in the inaugural EPT Malta Main Event for €18,320. Earlier this season, in October's EPT12 Main Event, he did even better finishing runner-up to Niall Farrell for a career best €440,000. Bilic, who currently sits second on Bosnia & Herzegovina All Time Money List, is in action here in the High Roller and looking for even more EPT success.
In a recent hand, Bilic raised to 600 from the cutoff and Croatia's Ivan Banic called from the big blind to see a flop, which they both checked. The turn saw Banic check-call a bet of 700 from Bilic, and then both players returned to checking on the river. Banic turned over the for a paid of eights, and it was good as Bilic mucked.
In the very next hand, Bilic raised to 600 from the hijack and took down the blinds and antes.
