Holz Pounces
Level 7
: 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Young German superstar, 2014 PokerStars WCOOP champ and the latest player forced to take out a restraining order on ESPN's Norman Chad after his deep run in the 2015 WSOP Main Event earned him a ton of TV time and a new stalker, Fedor Holz made it 7,000 from the cutoff.
Oleksii Khoroshenin bumped it up to 17,000 on the button.
The blinds folded and Holz made the call, sending them heads up to a flop. Holz check-called a 13,000-chip bet from Khoroshenin and the turn paired the board. Both players checked.
Holz pounced on the river, however, leading out for 25,200, which amounted to roughly half of Khoroshenin's stack. Khoroshenin folded and Chad was heard giggling like a school girl somewhere back in the United States.
