Dmitry Ivanov raised under the gun to 52,000 and his neighbor Juan Martin Pastor three-bet to 115,000 with 380,000 behind. Adrian Mateos cold four-bet to 250,000 and Hady El Asmar in the small blind tanked for some before folding.

Christopher Frank in the big blind didn't need time though, he peeked at his cards and instantly shoved all in for 407,000.

Ivanov quickly folded, and Pastor shoved over the top all in for 495,000 total. Mateos now had the decision, and needed some time. He did the math, and eventually said "I have to call"

Juan Martin Pastor: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}
Christopher Frank: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Adrian Mateos: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

It was a massive pot, and the players weren't hiding how excited and nervous they were. Christopher Frank walked around, Pastor nervously got up from the table, only to sit down again for a bit, and Mateos knew he had slim chances of winning, but also knew he was committed and meekly saw what was going to happen.

Hady El Asmar, in the meantime, repeatedly told he had folded jacks, though Frank wasn't really interested in the hand of his neighbor.

The flop came {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, about as full of blanks as they could come. The turn was anything but a blank though, helping Mateos in front to scoop it all: {Q-Hearts}.

Frank needed a king, Pastor needed an ace, and they were almost losing it at this point, while Mateos was holding his breath.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board and Frank just walked to the pay-out desk. Juan Martin Pastor wasn't ready for that part yet though, he was just about to break down it seemed. The biggest bad beat of his poker career just happened, and he wasn't prepared for it. He did recover not much later, and thanked all the players that supported him via twitter:

Juan Martín PastorNo me resta mas que decirles GRACIAS a todos por el apoyo que recibí, son lo mejor.

El Asmar was still happy about his fold, but it was Mateos who was the happiest of them all. He started stacking and built a castle worth 2,712,000 in chips.
