Soulier Gets Three Streets of Value

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Simon Deadman opened under the gun and got called in the button by Fabrice Soulier. Deadman then checked a board of {J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Soulier bet out 400 which was called. Deadman checked again on the {3-Spades} on the turn and again the Frenchman bet out, this time 750; once again Deadman called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds}, pairing the board and Soulier fired for a third time after Deadman checked, this time betting out 1,700.

"Do you have it?" asked Deadman.

"I don't have a six," came the reply from Fabrice Soulier.

"I didn't think you did," was the response.

"You can raise if you want," said Soulier, trying to goad his opponent.

"I'm not raising," said Deadman as he wrestled with his decision. "I think I'm going to have to pay you," he said, just before making the call.

Soulier turned over {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, and Deadman declared "No good," before mucking his cards, "How sick would that be if I had Aces there?"

Simon Deadman's stack took a bit of a hit, but he's still sitting pretty on a stack of about 40,000.
