Lo Eliminated in 11th Place; Bubble Time

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Rono Lo moved all in from the button for just the 60,000 or so he had left. Small blind Martin Finger moved all in over the top, Fabian Quoss in the big blind wasn't interested and folded.

Rono Lo: {K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Martin Finger: {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Rono Lo was heading for the exit.

With just 10 players left, the tournament is on the bubble and play is now hand for hand.

Streltsou Doubles Through Luca

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, Ivan Luca raised all in to put everyone behind him at risk. Andrei Streltsou made the call from the big blind for 765,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, and he was up against the {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Thanks to the {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{4-Spades} board, Streltsou doubled up.

Igor Kurganov Eliminated

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Igor Kurganov open shoved his last 450,000 in from the hijack. Mustapha Kanit on the button showed interest, glanced at his stack, and called. Both blinds quickly folded.

Kurganov had a lot of catching up to do with {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} as Kanit showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Clubs} and by the time the turn was out, Kurganov had already gotten up to leave. Down to 12, 3 to the money.

Fifteen-Minute Break

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Another break for the players, another chip race. The 1,000 leave the tournament, 5,000 will be the lowest denomination left when the players return for level 25,000/50,000 with 5,000 ante.

Mark Teltscher opened from the hijack to 195,000 with 72,000 behind. Action folded to Scott Seiver in the big blind. He asked how much Teltscher had behind ("Just checking if there's no secret red chips behind or anything"), and announced all in. "Yeah I have nothing, good call" said Teltscher who was committed and called instantly.

Mark Teltscher: {2-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Scott Seiver: {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}

The window card however, was the {9-Diamonds} and no ace would follow. The entire board ran out {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Seiver parted ways with 267,000 total.

"I was just annoyed with playing the short stack." Teltscher said. "Great call" he complimented Seiver once more.

Kanit Spikes a Double

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

From under the gun, Mustapha Kanit raised to 80,000. Mike Watson reraised to 200,000 from the hijack seat, and then play folded back to Kanit. He got an approximate count on Watson's stack, then jammed all in for 736,000. Watson quickly called.

Watson had the {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}, which was one better than Kanit's {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Unfortunately for Watson, the {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop gave Kanit a leading set of tens. The turn was the {7-Hearts}, and the river was the {9-Diamonds}. Kanit made a full house and doubled up.
