Big Slick Doesn't Do the Trick for Buddiga

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Max Altergott raised to 50,000 under the gun only to have Fedor Holz three-bet to 129,000 from the cutoff. Pratyush Buddiga then four-bet jammed for 480,000 from the small blind, and Altergott moved all in over the top.

"Makes it easy," Holz said before folding.

Altergott: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Buddiga: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

It was another race situation, but Buddiga needed to improve to stay alive. The {5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop didn't do much for him other than give him a running flush possibility, which was snatched away when the {9-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Buddiga needed either an ace or king on the river to extend his tournament life, but it was not meant to be as the {10-Hearts} blanked.

Buddiga took his leave emptyhanded in 14th place.
