Mercier Eliminated by Falco

Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier and Luca Falco were heads up with the board reading . With 9,200 already in the middle, Mercier checked his action over to Falco. Falco reached for chips and flung 15,000 past the betting line.

Mercier went deep into the tank before ultimately announcing an all-in check-raise for 25,750 total. Falco called and the hands were exposed.

Both players made huge hands on the flop, with Falco's set of deuces edging out Mercier's two pair. The Team PokerStars Pro needed to catch a queen or a ten on the river in order to stay alive, but found no solace when the finished off the board. Mercier made a quick exit from the tournament area while Falco increased his stack to about 69,000.
