German player Torsten Pischl, who won a ticket in a live satellite, started the day with 112,500. That was a nice position to be in but now he secured an ever firmer spot on our radar as he has a little over 300,000, which should make him the tournament chip leader at the moment.
Apparently Pischl won several big pots, but one of them stood out. He had in a three bet pot on with two spades. All the money went in and his pair and flush draw was up against pocket aces. Pischl hit a ten on the river to make two pair and grabbed the chips in the massive pot.
We'll keep an eye on Pischl from now on that's for sure.

With a steady stream of eliminations so far today, tables are breaking and players are being assigned new seats. Any hard earned information about player tendancies and stack sizes has to be learnt anew.
One player to just move tables is Aki Votkin from Finland who arrived with his chip tray and sat down on the right of a Swedish player called Viktor Blom.
It folded around to Votkin in the Hi-Jack who opened for 2,100. Blom, earphones in, left leg jiggling furiously out to the side of the table, raised him to 5,800. Folded round to Votkin he decided to muck his hand.
Kevin Iacofano moved all in for less than 20,000 and was called by Dragan Kostic. Iacofano’s tournament life was riding on his up against the of Kostic.
The dealer gave them a board of a little seat on the turn but a river brick to eliminate Iacofano.
