Brummelhuis and Walthaus Share the Table
Once we arrived the turn was already out there in a hand between November Niner Michiel Brummelhuis and the player in the big blind. With the board reading the big blind had 575 out in front of him. Brummelhuis, seated in the under the gun/hijack position as the table was still five handed, raised it up to 2,200. The big blind called.
The river brought the into play and the big blind quickly tapped the table. Brummelhuis carefully picked some chips and placed them in the middle; 6,525. The big blind quickly released his hand and the dealer got underway shuffling the cards for the next hand. Brummelhuis is up to a little over starting stack after that hand.
Brummelhuis is sharing the table with fellow countryman Jorn Walthaus. Walthaus and Brummelhuis both went deep in last years WSOP Main Event and even swapped a little piece in the process. Walthaus finished 26th for $285,408, while Brummelhuis ended up finishing seventh for $1,225,356.
