Team PokerStars Pro Victor Ramdin Down

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Victor Ramdin

We have to give it up to Victor Ramdin. At the end of Day 1b, he bagged a measly 9,200. We pegged him as one of the first players to go on Day 2, but he proved us wrong by running up his stack and making it through to Day 3. He began today short as well, but he once again proved he's a short-stack ninja by making it through the money bubble.

Unfortunately Ramdin's run just came to an end.

It happened when he moved all in for his last 28,500 from the hijack and Bulgaria's Valeri Savov called from the cutoff. The button and blinds both folded and the cards were turned up.

Savov: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Ramdin: {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Ramdin was behind, but he had the right kind of hand to crack a big pocket pair.

"Eight," Ramdin called when the {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop delivered him a gutshot straight draw. He had hope, but that didn't amount to anything as the {10-Hearts} blanked on the turn followed by the {10-Diamonds} river.

Ramdin exited in 73rd place.
