Duhamel Done and Dusted

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Jonathan Duhamel
Jonathan Duhamel

It was a rough day for Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel, and one that just came to an end shy of Level 6. We missed the hand as it happened, but a colleague was kind enough to fill us in on the details.

According to him, Duhamel checked a {5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop from the hijack and Zoltan Purak bet 1,200 from the cutoff. Duhamel responded by moving all in for 11,600, and Purak made the call.

Duhamel: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Purak: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Purak had flopped the nuts, and Duhamel was drawing to running cards. However, the {Q-Spades} turn took away any chance of that happening. The meaningless {3-Clubs} was run out on the river for good measure, and then a dejected Duhamel took his leave from the EPT10 Sanremo Main Event.
