Pariset Folds the Best Hand

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Jordan Westmorland opened for 100,000 under the gun holding {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Emmanuel Pariset made the call under the gun plus two with {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, and Andrija Martic came along from the big blind with {J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

After the flop everyone had a pair that might be good: {Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Martic checked to Westmorland who made a 140,000 continuation bet. Pariset sticked around, Martic folded.

Westmorland fired a 300,000 second bullet on the {K-Clubs}-turn and that got the job done as Pariset folded.

Martic Picks Off Pariset's Bluff

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Andrija Martic opened for the second time in a row with a bad ace. The first time he had to fold against a three-bet, this time he just got a call. Martic opened for 80,000 from the cutoff and Emmanuel Pariset made the call from the big blind.

Pariset check-called a 85,000 continuation bet on {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} with his {9-Spades}{8-Spades}. Pariset checked again once the {7-Clubs} hit, Martic checked behind with his {A-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

The river came the {Q-Diamonds} and Pariset bluffed at it for 160,000. Martic made the call and took it down with his two pair and ace kicker as Pariset had nothing but a busted open ended to show for.

Martic Leads River, Takes It

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Andrea Benelli opened to 80,000 with {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Andrija Martic defended his big blind with {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

The two players saw a flop of {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Martic checked and called a continuation bet from Benelli.

The turn card was the {3-Diamonds} and was checked by both players.

The river card was the {4-Hearts} and Martic led out for 180,000 with the best hand. Benelli made the fold.

The First Three Bet of the Day

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Jordan Westmorland opened for 80,000 under the gun plus two holding {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Emmanuel Pariset was the one calling, something we haven't really seen of him before as he was shoving allin mostly yesterday. He had {A-Spades}{10-Spades} and came along.

Andrea Benelli in the big blind looked down on {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and squeezed to 275,000. Westmorland quickly folded, and Pariset eventually did the same after some thinking.

Good start for Benelli.
