Banwari Bests $18m Man
Antonio Esfandiari had been entertaining the table with a few stories about Dan Bilzerian without mentioning his second name, including one where he allegedly threw someone into a swimming pool with unfortunate end results.
“Dan? Dan Smith?” asked Narendra Banwari to much hilarity as the consensus was that that particular Dan wouldn’t be throwing anybody particularly far.
Esfandiari opened for 2,600 and it was Banwari who was the only caller. “Hey Antonio, I’m playing a pot with you.” he said.
“I hope you don’t connect.” Esfandiari responded. “I don’t care, just bet big so I can fold.” Banwari shot back.
The flop was and a bet of 3,000 from Banwari saw Esfandiari make the fold.
Banwari showed the and loudly declared, “It’s gonna be in the history books. I won a hand with Antonio Esfandiari the eighteen million dollar man.”
