Three Leftover Level 18 Eliminations

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
JC Alvarado
JC Alvarado

Just before the last minute ticked off the clock in Level 18, three more players hit the rail in Carlos Mejia and JC Alvarado.

In regards to the former, he moved all in from the small blind for roughly 40,000 holding the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Conor Shelly defended the big blind with the {a-Spades}{3-Clubs}. The {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop paired Shelly, which meant Mejia's best chance of winning was a ten for Broadway. The {7-Spades} turn wasn't it, and neither was the {6-Spades} river. With that, Mejia exited the tournament.

As for Alvarado, a preflop raising war saw him get his stack of 235,000 all in as a dominant favorite against Idris Ambraisse.

Alvarado: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Ambraisse: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Unfortunately for Alvarado, he'd get extremely unlucky as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Meanwhile, Marc Daubach was eliminated by Dani Stern at another table in unknown action.
