There was an under-the-gun raise when Farid Jattin three-bet to 35,000 from the small blind. Vladimir Troyanovskiy in the big blind smooth called and the original raiser got out of the way.

The flop was {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Troyanovskiy called a bet of just over 30,000 from Jattin. The turn card was the {q-Spades} and Jattin thought for a bit before betting 65,000. Troyanovskiy gave him a long hard look and made the call again.

The river was the {5-Hearts}. Again Jattin took his time before betting 79,000 which was nearly half his remaining stack. It was now a big pot and if Troyanovskiy got it wrong he would slip down the pack.

He took a couple of minutes to think about it but eventually made the call. Jattin tapped the table in surrender but had to turn over his cards, {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Troyanovskiy tabled {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

“Good call.” said one of the other players at the table.

“Experience.” said Troyanovskiy with a slight smile.
