"Mad Marvin" Mauled by Marsili

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

We saw a bunch of people standing around a table at the far side of the room, so we made our way over to find out what all the commotion was about.

The action escaped us, but we do know that it was an all-in three-way hand between Marvin Rettenmaier, Poland's Tomasz Chmiel, and France's Antoine Marsili.

Rettenmaier: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Chmiel: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Marsili: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

It was a bad spot for both Rettenmaier and Marsili, but the latter managed to get lucky on the {8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop. Neither the {3-Spades} turn nor {2-Clubs} river changed a thing, and Marsili won the pot while simultaneously crippling Chmiel and eliminating Rettenmaier.
